Swim Team Prep
Swim Team Prep is an off-season conditioning and skill-refinement program designed for kids (typically ages 6 to 14). It operates similarly to a regular swim team practice but without the added commitment or pressure of formal swim meets
- Focus Areas: Emphasizes stroke development across all four strokes, skill refinement (such as starts, turns, and shallow dives), strength building, and endurance.
- Group Structure: Participants are typically split into smaller groups by age and ability (such as beginner and intermediate groups) to allow for more individualized attention from coaches.
- Prerequisites: Participants should be comfortable swimming the length of the lap pool without stopping (specifically freestyle and backstroke) and be at ease with their face in the water.
- Benefits: Ideal for preparing newer swimmers to join a competitive swim team for the first time, or helping experienced swimmers stay conditioned during the off-season in a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere.
